Philippine Barangay Election 2002 in Jalaud Norte

Election 2002 in the Jalaud Norte, Zarraga Iloilo was a successful.  No political incident happened and a lot of new faces entered on the said election.  What noticeable during that election, a lot of Dilag entered in politics.   Almost all ZONES have their own candidates.  Two new faces run as Punong Brangay and there were 21 candidates for 7 seats for Brgy. Kagawad.

The son of Ex-Brgy. Captain Prudencion Dilag, Mr. Jose Dennis Dilag won as Punong Barangay with only 12 votes margin to Mr. Josefino Patriarca.  Andres Nomanap the previous term Punong Barangay lost to his possession.

A lot of new comers won in the in the said election: Nang Dayang, Nong Ojeck, Inday Diutay & Nong Ronald. The incumbent councilors Nong Estong, Nong Nilo & Nong Rolly still on the top seven. More or lease there are about 1200 plus voters during that time and a lot.
