Who’s to Blame? Street Lights were OFF

The street lights in our barangay Jalud Norte are off for almost several months.   Kon ngaa? There are some people nga ginapanguha ang wire sng street lights.  I remember one time while on my way going to BLISS last April 2010 the street lights were really bright.  Nga daw di ka guid makulbaan magkadto sa innermost sitio sng Jalaud Norte kay tama ka sanag.  But after then? Wala na all lights were off.  May gapangawat sng linya sng mga street lights.  This is the now main problem of our Barangay Officials.

If you look at the hi-way in Bga. Modesto medyo madulom man. Wala na gagana ang mga street lights nga gintinguhaan sng aton ledires maptindog agud mapasiga.  Even in the Bga. Bante proper there are areas nga may poste lang but wala sng bulb or florescent.  Take note we have a large population and crimes always happen at night especially sa mga madulom kag maligwin nga lugar.

We admire the CVO/tanods for their responsive duty every night.  This is the first step kag tani bilang mga residente sng lugar mangin vigilante kita sa aton palibot para matapna ang illegal nga buluhaton. We as a member of our community should participate and become active in bringing a peaceful community for our own development and safety.

I've also heard the news that their was a certain group of people nga ang ila modus operandi amo ang pagpangawat sng mga wires. C'mon... La na guid kawaton haw? Dakpan man japon kamo a... Tipok guid kamo kay KAP.

As of now (Aug 10, 2010 ) medyo ok na kag kasanag sng Hi-way sa Bga. Modesto... Thanks to our brgy. officials for addressing this problem.. Two thumps up!

Voters Registration sa Zarraga para sa 2010 Local Election

Ang Local Election 2010 malapit nalang nga pagahiwaton sa Octobre 25, 2010. Bangod sini ang pagparehistro naga umpisa na.  Sa mga pumuluyo sng Jalaud Norte (Bga. Bante) tion na ini para makapili liwat sng nagakadapt nga mga lideres sng barangay kag labaw sa tanan aton mahimo ang aton obligation sa pagboto. Sono sa taga Zarraga - COMELEC:

August 1 - 10, 2010 - ang petsa nga gintalana para sa luyag magparehistro nga magabuto para sa mga regular nga position pareho sng Punong Barangay kag mga kagawad.  Ang edad para makaparehistro  18 - asta pasak.  Kinahanglan man siguro magdala sng valis ID's agud may pagabasehan ang manog rehistro.

August 5 - 15 , 2010 - ang petsa nga gintalana para sa mga kabataan para magparehistro.  Dapat naga-edad 15 tubtub 17 sa adlaw sng election.  Ini para sa Sangguniang Kabataan ng position pareho sng SK Chairman kag SK Councilors.

Sa mga luyag magparehistro magkadto lang sa opisana sang COMELEC sa Zarraga Municipal Hall, dapat office hours lang para makasiguro nga may maga-amuma sa aton kag kung tama guid kadamo ang maparehistro, "be patient" lang a.  Di guid magkahuya mamangkot sa election officer sng mga bagay nga wala nahibal-an..

The sun had just gone down and the lengthening shadows were now turning into a black mantle of the coming night. The full moon was about to show its beautiful face from behind the mountain range. There was a light drizzle.

Gorio was prodding his horse homeward to what is now a first-class highway towards the north. His destination was what would one day be known popularly as Banga Bante or Jalaud Norte in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. His thoughts were already with his wife, Tina, and their three little children: Francisca, Canuto, and Taciana.

A plague had struck and had been raging for more than two weeks. A hundred or so had died – young and old, men and women, in two neighboring barangays along the Jalaud River. His own sitio would be the next as the plague was spreading upwards along the river bank on their side of Jalaud.

Jalaud Norte - Goes Global

Jalaud Norte aka Bga. Bante a progressive Barangay in Zarraga, Iloilo, Philippines will now capture the world! If you visit the barangay, hi-tech na ang aton makita. Kadamo na ng-open nga internet stations kag kadamo pa guid ang nagatuyo nga magpatindog sining klase sng negosyo. Ex. of internet station: Get-in. With the services that primary communication networks offer in the Philippines, we are fortunate nga taga-Bga. Bante nga may ara kita sng mga cell sites around the Brangay! (globe and smart towers are just sorround us).Internet ang pinakainfluencial medium now! That's why some houses in Jalaud Norte have it's own wireless connection towards it. This is a means of communication knowing nga damo nagaabroad nga halin diri sa aton barangay .. seamen, engineers, ofws.. etc... In terms of wired communication, telephones are just around, Globe Lines for example...

Hopefully tani maextend na asta saaton ang PLDT service nga subong ara palang sa Hacienda Fee. Cable services for television are also visible in some houses. Inyo makita ang nagakabit nga satellite disc sa mga balay nga nagkuha sng cable service.

Indeed we are towards global competitive! With the help of this site, I know that someday we will met again and by this electronic medium we will somehow share what we have and what we know. Mga kasimaryo let's all stand united and continue to grow as we want to reach fruit of our labor. Makisabay sa panahon and hambal gani ni P-noy "pwede ng mangarap!

Timely but Untimely Project sa BLISS

Kadto ka bala subong sa BLISS, Bga. Bante, Jalaud Norte, Zarraga, Iloilo pag-agi mo sa dulhugan hay makita mo guid ang grabe nga alagyan... Malutak guid ya tungod sng guintampok nga lupa para tani sa pagsugod sng bago nga proyekto amo ang pagpataas sng dalan kaso namisklahan sng ulan kunti perwesyo sa pumuluyo labi na guid sa gaopesina, estudyante, kag tanan nga nagagwa sulod sa lugar.

We are not against with the project pero ang buldlay kay tanan guid maapektuhan right now.. Daan na ni nga problema nga ginatinghuwaan nga masolbar subong nga malapit na ang election...Thanks sa effort at last may tugon guid man sng problema... Hopefully next time concrete na guid ang project.  Long term answer to the problem. :) As what our commnter said let's sacirifce kuno for a short span of time. Hopefully short lang. Tani di lang mag-ulan permi.. Sayluhon ta ang "climate"? Joke2...

This is really a timely project for those who instituted this one especially that October election is fast approaching... Is this timely for the a group of people with hidden interest but untimely for a large group of individuals?? God knows what they are doing. Calling DPWH what are you doing! Thanks for the untimely project you instituted. Be wise and be strategic in planning..

Reunion sng Pamilya Perania-Betinala

Isa sa mga prominente nga apelyedo sa Bga. Bante ang Perania.  Pila naman ka tuig ang ila handum nga mauman ang reunion nga ginaayo sng bilog nga pamilya.  Kag sng Hunyo 19, 2010 ini natigayun sa pagbululigay sng bilog nga pamilya. Ang selebrasyon gin hiwat sa Jalaud Elementary School. Madamo nga pamilya ang nagkilitaay kag ila guid nakilala ang ila mga pariente. Kon inyo nabal-an isa sa mga kilala nga produkto sng Perania Family amo si Sister Dilac nga gusto guid magtingob ang ila pamilya. Kag wala guid sya mapaslawan.

Ang selebrasyon nagsugod sang aga kag natapos na sa hapon. Kinaon, kinanta, hampang ang pila lamang sa mga actibidaed nga natabo. Kag ini anugod pa lamang kag syempre maga liwat guid! Sa Perania Family congratulations! Ang iban nga pamilya di guid magkalingkag sa paghiwat sining selebrasyon!

Jalaud Elem. School sa Pagbukas sng SY 2010-2011

Tion na naman sng pagbukas sng classe kag ang akon kag inyo man alma mater sa liwat maga akumodar sng masobra 800 ka mga estudyante sa tuig nga ini. Madamo naman nga mga bata ang pagatudluan sng aton mga pinalangga nga maestra.

Jalaud Elementary School is one of the most competitive school di lamang sa Zarraga kundi sa bilog man nga Iloilo. Kung inyo madumdumna nangin oustanding man ang aton sadto Principal nga si Ms. Sampaguita Montilla. Sa pagbinuligay sng bilog nga Barangay paagi sa mga lideres sini kita tanan gapati nga aton mapaumwad kag mapatapos ang aton mga kabataan. Sa mga ginhikanan nga gapulaw-bugtaw para makatapos ang ila anakako bilang isa man ka bata gasaludo guid sa inoy. Kag sa tanan nga mga kabataan aton hingalitan nga samtang bata pa kita maga eskwela. Kabay pa matapos ninyo ang inyo pagtuon
